Our Story
We met swing dancing — lindy hop brought us together, and a shared love of food, land, and animals kept us close. Now we're turning that energy toward something bigger.
We're coming back to Hood River to grow roots — literally. Pulling up stakes around September in Fort Collins and making the move to the HRV.
Hood River isn't new to us — Graham went to HRVHS and his family still lives here. We're drawn to the Gorge for its orchards, vineyards, and the kind of community where neighbors actually know each other. We're looking for a place to rent that has room for our animals and our ambitions.
We'd love to connect with agricultural folks in the valley, and we're open to non-traditional setups — a handful of hours a week working alongside orchardists or vineyard crews in exchange for the chance to learn and contribute. Maybe we'll help you setup a fancy beehive! 🐝

We raise ducks for eggs and pest control. They're excellent foragers, great companions, and endlessly entertaining.
Swarm traps, horizontal hives, and a hands-on approach to natural beekeeping. We build our own equipment and focus on sustainable, low-intervention methods.
Sabrina brings a master's in conservation and experience in winemaking and wine education. The Gorge's growing wine scene and a focus on sustainability is a big part of what draws us to Hood River.
Long term, we want to connect with orchardists and vineyard owners in the valley. We're drawn to organic and regenerative approaches — building soil, working with natural systems, and thinking long term. We're interested in sheep as an alternative to mechanical mowing — targeted grazing that benefits the land and the animals. We're not just looking for a place to live. We're looking for a community to contribute to.
